Retrograde, Bi-polar and Resurrection of the Creative Introvert in Spring

Nothing like sneaking up on a topic or four while breaking in the new blog.  I’m Jen, blogging, writing and designing from my homebase at Grandma Auburn’s TinyTrailer. (You can find a link to the “HIKE” tee shirt at the bottom of this post, while I’m still working out all the WordPress kinks. THX for understanding!)

Good Afternoon on this gusty, snowing day somewhere south of Lake Michigan.  Mid-April. And it took GREAT Inner Strength to hit the round shuffling at the crack of 8:30 this morning. I caffeinated  enough to speak coherently when it was my turn at the post office counter… and returned home safely with all metaphorical lug nuts intact.

Yesterday was devoted to revising a couple kid & mom designs that had been languishing in draft for weeks. After some tinkering, but no real progress, I opened a fresh page and played with multi-colored hearts. Probably sent it off to be critiqued to soon, but ooohhhh how cathartic it was to be playing on the creative side of the grey matter once more.

Mother Nature and the rest of us Crones will continue to dig ourselves out from last the seasons snowbank. I’m workin’ on forward & focus.  There’s meaningfulness in the minutia.
